While I don't recommend penny-pinching when it is something fun to do on your vacation, because what's the point of spending all that money to go and then you don't do what you went there to do, but I digress.
What I do recommend is to save where you can so you have more to spend on those things in the parks like food and experiences. A great way to do this is to buy some things ahead of time like toys, ears, and bags. That's not to say you can't buy some in the park when you get there if you see something you really like, but if you are like me, the more important stuff is the stuff that creates memories like eating good food and participating in experiences like building droids with my kid.
So check out your local Disney Outlet store, buy some of that stuff ahead of time, and use those savings towards your actual vacation. This is a great way to save money on (for) your Disney Vacation.
